Patriot League Baseball

Pembroke - Sophomore Stephan White collected 3 of Hingham's 11 hits to lead the Harbormen to a 15-5 victory over Pembroke in Patriot League baseball.  Rob Madden, Sean Greene and Kevin Minassian each had two hits for Hingham which improves to 6-3, 4-1.  Mike Martin smacked a 2-run homer for Pembroke.

Game Time and Date Change

The game orginally scheduled for May 20th against Duxbury has been changed to Saturday May 21st at 6pm (under the lights). The JV and Freshmen games will both be played AT Duxbury on May 20th at 4pm.

Harbormen Post Win In Florida

Kissimmee, Fl - The Hingham High School baseball team wrapped up their 3 game road trip with an impressive 9-3 victory over Poinciana High School. Junior Ryan Linehan (2 hits, R, 2 RBI) keyed a 6 run 3rd inning explosion with a 2 run single. Sophomore Eddie Bowler blasted a 380 foot 2-run homer to add some insurance. Junior Liam Koenen reached base all 4 times at bat (1-1 with an RBI). Junior Sean Greene tossed 6 strong innings giving up 3 runs on 6 hits. Greene was aided by some great defense in the first inning when Linehan completed a double play by throwing out a runner at the plate from centerfield.
Hingham now stands at 5-2 (3-0 in Patriot League) and will return to league play on Monday when they play host to league power Middleboro.
