Duxbury - Sophomore Evan Flanagan fired 6 strong innings giving up just one earned run on 6 hits with 5 strikeouts to lift Hingham to a 6-2 win over Duxbury in Patriot League Baseball. Senior Tim Winter snapped a 2-2 tie in the top of 4th with an RBI double. Senior Jake Magner followed by laying down a perfect safety squeeze to score Kevin Minassian. Sophomore Stephan White capped the three run outburst with an RBI single. Hingham added single runs in the 5th and 6th on RBI singles from senior captains Alex Pompeo and David Hogan. Pompeo also made the key defensive play in the game by gunning down a run at the plate in the bottom of the 4th with a perfect throw from right. Hingham improves to 13-3 overall and 10-1 in the Patriot League.
