Whitman - Sophomore Evan Flanagan fired a 1 hitter with 10 strikeouts and fellow sophomore Stephan White continued his hot hitting with a 3-for-3 day with 3 RBI as Hingham cruised to a 9-0 win over Whitman-Hanson. "Evan was just immense today. He had great command of all of his pitches and really kept their guys off balance," Hingham coach Bob Rodgers said. "He is so much fun to watch pitch. Well it's fun when your watching from the dugout not the batters box."
White, who is now 12-for-15 this season, drilled two doubles and a single while also collecting a walk. "He is really seeing the ball well and doesn't try to do too much at the plate, Rodgers said. Sophomore Eddie Bowler crushed a 380 foot homer for the Harbormen who improve to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in the Patriot League.
