Dragons Down Harbormen

Duxbury - Duxbury exacted a measure of revenge against Hingham on Thursday with a convincing 10-2 victory at Chandler Field. Duxbury scored 3 quick runs in the first inning and scored in every inning except the second. The Harbormen managed just 5 hits against Duxbury starter Steve Blout who last year failed to make it out of the second inning against Hingham when he was tagged for 10 quick runs. Junior Alex Pompeo drove home Hingham's first run of the game with an RBI double in the 6th. Jake McGuiggan would later drive him in with a sacrifice fly. David Hogan led the way for Hingham with 3 hits while Eric Sherman collected the other Harbormen hit. Hingham falls to 3 and 2 in the Patriot League while Duxbury improves to 4 and 1.
