Harbormen Offense Comes to Life
Hingham - The Harbormen pounded out 10 hits en route to an impressive 12-5 win over Whitman-Hanson Wednesday to improve to 3 and 1 on the young season. Sophomore lefty Rob Madden fired 5 strong innings giving up just 1 run on 6 hits while striking out 8 to pick up his second win in as many starts. Sophomore Sean Greene got the final 6 outs in his varsity pitching debut. Tri-captain Jake McGuiggan paced the offense going 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Senior Andrew Pompeo had 2 hits, including a double. Hingham will get right back to work tomorrow when they travel to Duxbury for their final game before travelling to Florida for April vacation.
