Hingham - Senior Captain Kevin Zyrkowski fired a complete game 3 hitter to power Hingham to a 4-2 win over Sandwich in non-league action. Zyrkowski struck out 8 and allowed just 1 earned run for the Harbormen who improve to 7 and 4. Zyrkowski's battery mate Connor Fallon had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs to lead the offense. Fallon broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the 2nd with an RBI double and he scored one batter later when David Hogan plated him with a hard hit single to the left center. Sandwich tied the game by scoring two in the top of the third with the equalizer coming home on a passed ball. Fallon though snapped that 2-2 deadlock in the bottom of the 4th with a 2-run single. Third baseman Eric Sherman made several strong defensive plays including a spectacular play in the top of the 5th robbing Sandwich of extra bases. Sophomore Sean Greene continued his hot hitting with 2 more hits for Hingham who will return to action on Monday against Hanover at Cronin Field.
